well like most rigs it will never be done. as far as trail ready...I'm no longer trying to make a certain date. I have done that twice already and something always comes up and pushes it out. so its will be done when its done. :idk:

Can I say "I told you so?" IF you need a hand, let me know. Too broke to go wheeling. But I'm busy this weekend.

Hey Rick. On your switches for the axle suck downs. How did you mount the switch tot he backing plate. I just put my switches on my center console. I have all the holes drilled and such. Just trying to figure out the spacing for the switch mounted to the backing plate.

That rear cross member isn't going to hold. It looks like you rear suspension is held in my 4 bolts through the frame. There's going to be A LOT of stress on those 4 bolts. You should slap a piece of 1/4" from the bottom of that one to the front cross member.

That is by far one of the nicest rigs that I have seen in a long time. Now go beat the poop out of it.

well after a couple runs we found a couple of issues. first thing was the ram mount on the axle side was to weak and broke loose. the steering was off center and turned more to the right than left. the steering was about 1.5 turn lock to lock which was just too sensitive. we also forgot to replace the nuts on the front link crossmember with nylocks and they worked loose and sheered the bolt on the front of the skid. so now for the repairs. redsigned the mount for the ram. moved the mount for the steering on tierod to center the steering. replaced the 2" ram with a 3" ram and now have about 3.5 turns. and added some spreader tubes between the front and rear link mounts so now basicly have a box frame for the links and skid.

also added front shock wraps and made up a mount for the highlift.
also rotated the front brakelines and moved the springs to keep the lines off tires
