I'm sure most of you have heard about the police involved shooting that happened in silverdale last night.what I'm sure none of you know is that the driver was my grandsons' dad. he had some problems but was still a good kid and was a very good dad. I am sorry that the boys have to grow up without him.

Sorry to hear that Rick, we were actually out on the boat and heard the sirens, we didn't actually know what went on until today.

HOly shit Rick.. I saw that on the news this morning and was wondering who it was. I'm sorry to hear that, Keep an eye on Megan as best as you can. I know this is probably a big shock to her.

I am terribly sorry Rick. Megan and the boys are in my thoughts. Let us know if we can help with anything. I agree with Jon this may throw Megan overboard. She needs you and Tammy the most right now.

tammy is my wife. meagan is my daughter. he was meagan's ex boyfriend and the dad of her kids. he had a gun because he has had some threats on his life from a local gang recently. but he shouldn't have had it. I have heard different stories of what went on that night including one witness that said Matt never got out of his car and there was no stuggle.hopefully the truth will be know after the investegation.no matter what the truth is.I am not takeing any sides on it because I wasn't there and dont know what happened. All i know is that drugs and bad decisions have cost my grandsons their dad.

I agree with you on looking at the joy life can bring upon us. However studying psychology I have learned that people who abuse drugs are trying to void something in their life, whether it be pain, fear, or anything of that sort. When I say abuse drugs this does not include marijuana. People who abuse drugs tend to have a hard time recovering and becoming clean because they do not want to face the facts of life or know how to live in reality. I am not taking sides, just thought I would place my opinion on the table as this is my interest in psychology.

It is very sad that he chose the life of drugs and left his children to survive without him. It is also terrible that he is probably being used as an example as to how drugs and weapons can effect a person. The whole situation is a shame.

OMG, I'm so sorry for your family's loss. IDK the story either, but someone was obviously trigger happy.

I can't believe I haven't heard anything about this until just now.... :wtf:
